Later, the evening canapés served at the Fairmont Gold Lounge were exquisite. From delicate finger foods to delightful desserts, everything was plated with elegance and tasted sublime.

Although my stay was short, I made time to explore the serene outdoor pool, which looked like something out of a royal painting. Surrounded by sandstone columns and cabanas, it was the perfect setting to relax and rejuvenate.

There’s also a spa offering a variety of traditional and contemporary therapies, though I hope to try this on my next visit.
