A bus stop right outside the hotel means you can hop on a bus and reach anywhere in Singapore without the need for taxis.

I had booked my stay through the Accor ALL app, and being a Silver member, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a room on one of the top floors that had recently been renovated. The check-in process was smooth and quick — the staff were efficient and courteous, setting a great first impression.
Like most hotels in Singapore, the rooms here are compact but thoughtfully designed to make the best use of space. My room featured the signature Sweet Bed™ by ibis, a work desk, and modern interiors. It felt cosy, functional, and perfect for a solo or couple stay.
As an Accor Silver elite, I also received a welcome drink voucher — a small but nice touch, though the drink itself was mostly filled with ice cubes! Still, it’s always great when loyalty recognition is consistent across Accor properties worldwide.

The hotel also has filtered water dispensers on every floor, which guests can use to refill their bottles. The water is super chilled — perfect after a day of sightseeing in Singapore’s warm weather.
The hotel also offers self-service laundromats, which is an excellent facility for longer stays or for those travelling light. I loved how ibis Bencoolen focuses on sustainability and convenience, reflecting Singapore’s eco-friendly culture.

For breakfast, the ibis breakfast buffet is quite popular, offering a mix of international and Asian dishes. The hotel also has a Grab & Go corner for those who want something quick before heading out to explore.
