Despite reading mixed reviews online prior to my arrival—with some travelers claiming the hotel felt dated or that the breakfast fell short—my personal experience was overwhelmingly positive. Situated in the tranquil area of Wong Amat Beach in Northern Pattaya, Pullman Pattaya Hotel G offers a relaxed beachfront setting away from the bustling nightlife of central Pattaya, yet close enough for easy access to major attractions.
- Location: Wong Amat Beach, Pattaya (approx. 90 minutes from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport).
- Vibe: Upscale beachfront resort blending traditional Thai hospitality with modern design.

Because I landed in Bangkok early in the morning and Pattaya is only a 90-minute drive away, timing was crucial. Prior to my arrival, I reached out to the property requesting a complimentary room upgrade and an early check-in based on my Accor Gold Status. The hotel noted my request and assured me they would accommodate the early check-in subject to availability.
I arrived at the property around 9:00 AM. The team was accommodating and managed to grant my early check-in by 11:00 AM, along with a room upgrade to an Ocean Facing View with Balcony.

When it comes to luxury travel, there is nothing quite like letting your loyalty points do the heavy lifting. For this two-night stay at the Pullman Pattaya Hotel G, I decided to dip into my Accor Live Limitless (ALL) rewards balance.I booked this entire stay for just 9,000 ALL Reward points.
The Room: Ocean View Comfort
The room provided a comfortable and scenic sanctuary throughout the stay.
The View: The standout feature was undoubtedly the private balcony offering uninterrupted, panoramic views of the Gulf of Thailand.
Furnishings & Comfort: Contrary to online reviews describing the rooms as outdated, the room was remarkably well-maintained, clean, and spacious, featuring a plush bed, dedicated workspace, and a crisp aesthetic.
Amenities: Equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, a fully stocked minibar, and a spacious bathroom complete with premium toiletries and a separate shower and bathtub.
Sitting on the private balcony while watching the sunset over the water was one of the highlights of the entire trip.
Dining: Delicious Breakfast with Indian Vegetarian Options
Breakfast at Pullman Pattaya Hotel G surpassed expectations. The main dining venue features a extensive international buffet set against stunning ocean-facing views.

Diverse Cuisine: A massive selection ranging from Western staples (pancakes, pastries, custom egg stations) to Asian cooked dishes.
Indian Vegetarian Options: A pleasant surprise for Indian travelers—the buffet offered multiple authentic Indian vegetarian options refreshed daily.
Seaside Setting: Enjoying fresh coffee and a cooked breakfast right by the ocean provided a great start to each day.
Resort Amenities: Gym, Kids Activities, and Entertainment
The resort is well-equipped with amenities suitable for all types of travelers:
Fitness & Wellness: A full-fledged fitness center featuring modern cardio and strength equipment, along with a dedicated Yoga Room for quiet stretch sessions.
Recreation: Indoor sports entertainment including table tennis and a pool table.
For Families: A dedicated Kids Play Area and a special Kids Movie Theatre, which screens multiple family-friendly movies each day starting at 11:00 AM.
The Aisawan Spa at Pullman Pattaya
For relaxation, the property houses the serene Aisawan Spa. Nestled among lush tropical foliage and water features near the beach, the spa offers a comprehensive menu of traditional Thai massages, aromatherapy treatments, and facial therapies. The peaceful ambiance makes it an ideal spot to unwind during a hot afternoon.
The Highlight: Private Beach Access
The best feature of Pullman Pattaya Hotel G is its direct beach access. Unlike many hotels in central Pattaya where a busy main road separates the property from the sand, Pullman sits directly on Wong Amat Beach.
Vibe: Clear water, clean sand, and a far quieter atmosphere than Pattaya Beach.
Beach Club: The resort features stylish beachside loungers and daybeds where you can order refreshing cocktails and light snacks throughout the afternoon.
Hotel Shuttle Service & Practical Tips
The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to and from Dolphin Circle, providing quick access to central shopping centers like Terminal 21 Pattaya.
- Schedule: The shuttle starts running from 12:00 PM onwards. While we made great use of it on both days of our stay, starting at 12:00 PM felt a bit late; having the shuttle start by 10:00 AM would be far more convenient for morning outings.
- Booking: You must book your shuttle seat a few hours in advance by calling the reception desk or speaking with security.
Note on Green Initiatives: The "Skip the Clean" green initiative (offering loyalty points or perks for opting out of daily housekeeping) is not currently active at this property. I enquired at the front desk but did not receive a follow-up regarding the program.
Accor All Gold Status Benefits
Staying at Pullman Pattaya Hotel G as an Accor ALL Gold member has limited benefits as compared to other accor properties:

A welcome drink voucher which can be redeemed at the beach bar is issued which includes alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.
2. Early Check-in & Late Check-out Options
Gold members enjoy priority for early check-in or late check-out, subject to availability. I got early check-in at 11 and dint need late check-out as I left Pattaya before standard check-out time.
3. Priority Welcome & In-Room Amenity
Expect a warm, personalized welcome at check-in through a Priority queue. Fruit platter was kept as in room amenity during the stay.
4. Member Rate Discounts
As a Gold member, you get access to exclusive discounted rates not available to general bookings.
5. Bonus Reward Points
Earn bonus ALL reward points on your stay, helping you reach higher tiers or redeem free nights faster.
Final Verdict: Is Pullman Pattaya Hotel G Worth It?
Despite the negative online reviews claiming the hotel is outdated or that the food lacks quality, I strongly disagree. My experience was seamless:
- The property is exceptionally well-maintained.
- The ocean view rooms are bright, clean, and comfortable.
- The breakfast quality and variety (including vegetarian-friendly choices) were superb.
- The beachfront location provides a true resort experience.
Redeeming Accor ALL points for a completely free 2-night stay made this experience an unbelievable value. If you are looking for a relaxing beach resort in Pattaya with great status recognition, Pullman Pattaya Hotel G is a fantastic choice.
