Kuala Lumpur Airport Terminal 2 Lounge Review | Free Lounge Access with Priority Pass

While flying from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore with AirAsia, I had the opportunity to access the Travel Club Lounge at KLIA Terminal 2 absolutely free — thanks to my Priority Pass issued with the American Express Platinum Charge Card. The Priority Pass from Amex Platinum offers unlimited complimentary lounge access outside India, and this was a perfect way to make my early-morning travel a bit more comfortable.

Locating the Lounge

Finding the Travel Club Lounge at Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 (KLIA2) can be slightly tricky. There are no clear signboards within the terminal, and I had to ask airport staff for directions. It’s located airside, past immigration and security, but be mindful — the boarding gates can be quite far, so plan your time accordingly.

Check-In Experience

I reached the lounge around 7:00 AM, and it was pleasantly quiet with very few travelers. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. What I particularly liked is that this lounge accepts digital Priority Pass cards, so there’s no need to carry a physical card — just show your digital membership through the Priority Pass app, and you’re in!

Food and Beverages

Since I visited early in the morning, the breakfast spread was available. I grabbed a few quick bites, including some vegetarian options, pastries, and fresh juice. The lounge provides self-service counters with hot beverages like coffee and tea, perfect for an early morning caffeine fix before boarding.

While I didn’t have much time to explore every facility, the lounge provides Wi-Fi access, charging ports, clean restrooms, and a selection of local and international newspapers. It’s ideal for passengers looking to relax, recharge, or get some work done before their flight.
